Idris Elba is a British actor, producer and rapper. He got his first break in the British medical drama series called Bramwell, post which, he appeared in several television serials such as Absolutely Fabulous (1995), Family Affairs (1997), Dangerfield (1999), Law and Order (2001) and CSI Miami (2003). He was the recipient of a Golden Globe for his role as a detective in Luther (2011). Elba's major roles are in American Gangster (2007), The Unborn (2009), Thor (2011), Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2012) and Thor: The Dark World (2013). His recent films include Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Gunman (2015), A Hundred Streets (2015) and Stra Trek Beyond (2016). He lent his voice in the movies Zootopia (2016), The Jungle Book (2016) and Finding Dory (2016).
