James Wan is a Malaysian-born Australian film director, producer, and screenwriter who is renowned for directing horror movies. He is also credited for being the man who creates Billy the Puppet, the puppet that appeared in the Saw franchise. Apart from directing movies like Saw (2004), Dead Sentence (2007), Insidious (2011), The Conjuring and Insidious: Chapter 2 (both 2013), Furious 7 (2015) and The Conjuring 2 (2016), Wan has also directed the trailer for the survival horror video game, Dead Space.
