An American TV and film writer and producer, Jeff Pinkner started his career in the entertainment industry as a writer for the popular TV series, Ally McBeal in 1998. He subsequently wrote for series' like Profiler (1998-2000), Ally (1999), Early Edition (1999-2000) and The Street (2000), which also marked his debut as a producer. Having established himself as an accomplished writer and producer in the TV industry, he made his debut on the silver screen as a writer with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), which he co-wrote with Alex Kurtzman, Robert Orci and James Vanderbilt. His other notable films as a writer includes The 5th Wave (2016) and The Dark Tower (2017), an American science fiction western action horror film directed by Nikolaj Arcel. His 2018 release includes Venom.
