K.S. Ravikumar is an Indian film director and actor who predominantly works in the Tamil film industry. The veteran is considered to be one of the most popular and successful directors of all time and he is noted for directing blockbuster films. Some of his most popular directorial ventures include Avvai Shanmugi (1996), Padayappa (1999), Thenali (2000), Dasavathaaram (2008), Lingaa (2014) and Mudinja Ivana Pudi Kotigobba 2 (2016). His 2017 release includes En Aaloda Seruppa Kaanom. He is also associated with the 2017 Tamil romantic Palli Paruvathilae directed by Vasudev Bhaskar, starring Nandanram Narayanan and Venba in the lead roles.
