Born on 16th July 1983 in Hong Kong, Katrina Kaif is a British-Indian actress, model, and philanthropist. She is one of the most commercially successful actresses in Bollywood and has acted in a couple of Malayalam and Telugu films as well. Katrina was also voted as the Hottest Woman in the World by Eastern Eye in the years 2008, 2009 and 2010. A British national, Kat, as she is popularly known, has stayed in a lot of countries but eventually settled in India, after her debut film, Boom, released in 2003. After Boom failed to make any mark at the box office, Katrina ventured out to South Indian cinema, appearing in the Telugu film, Malliswari (2004). A former model, she was roped in as the brand ambassador for big brands like LG, Veet, and Lakme at the very onset of her career. She was raised in Hawaii and later moved to her mothers home country, England, after the divorce of her parents.
