Laeta Kalogridis is a Greek-American screenwriter for both television as well as for film. Starting her career with selling a script to Warner Bros in 1994, which unfortunately never got produced, she was associated with the early script of X-Men, which released in 2000. Subsequently, she was associated with the screenwriting credits of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001 and also worked on the remake of Lone Ranger. Her other screenwriting credits include Shutter Island (2010), Terminator Genisys (2015), two episodes of the television series Altered Carbon (2019) and Alita: Battle Angel (2019), which she started writing in January 2007. Apart from screenwriting, Laeta Kalogridis also has a couple of production credits under her belt with movies like Avatar (2009), Shutter Island (2010), White House Down (2013), and The House with a Clock in Its Walls (2018).
