Marcia Gay Harden is an American actress. Her debut film was Not Only Stranger (1979). She appeared in popular television shows including Simon & Simon, Kojak and CBS Summer Playhouse. Marcia worked in The Imagemaker (1986), Disney sci-fi comedy film Flubber (1997), supernatural drama Meet Joe Black (1998) and Labor of Love (1998). She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film Pollock (2000). In 2003, she was nominated for the same category for Mystic River. Marcia was critically acclaimed for her role in blockbuster films including Into The Wild (2007), The Mist (2007), Home (2008) and Whip It (2009). She provided her voice for the character of Aamah in Noah's Ark: The New Beginning (2012). Marcia was last seen in Parkland (2013) and Magic in the Moonlight (2014). She has the films Fifty Shades of Grey and Grandma lined up.
