Mark Bennington is an American actor and globally known photographer. After training at the New Actors Workshop in New York City, Mark went on to work with the Tony award winning director & writer combo, Diane Paulus and Randy Weiner's experimental theatre ensemble 'Project 400' for 2 years. Shortly after, he landed his big theatre break with The Royal National Theatre's production of ''An Enemy of the People'' with Sir Ian McKellen and then continued to do regional theater all over the United States.
After 10 years of working as an actor, Mark picked up the camera in 2003. His award-winning images have since been published in The Atlantic, Huffington Post, CNN, GQ India, Man's World, Verve, LA Weekly, LA Times and The Wall Street Journal among many others. Mark authored of the acclaimed photography book ''Living the Dream: The Life of the 'Bollywood' Actor.
At times Mark has returned to acting, in Bollywood films like the 2015 mystery action-drama 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' and John Abraham's 2018 release 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran'. His next project is opposite Akshay Kumar in the Dharma Production of 'Kesari', set to release in 2019. His 2019 release includes Bhangra Paa Le, directed by Sneha Taurani.
