Mark Ruffalo is an American actor, director, producer and screenwriter. Following high school, he took classes at the Stella Adler Conservatory and subsequently co-founded the Orpheus Theatre Company, where he directed, wrote and starred in a number of plays. Mark started off with minor roles in films like The Dentist (1996), Safe Men (1998) and Ride with the Devil (1999). However, his feature film debut was Kenneth Longeran's film You Can Count On Me (2000).
