Michael Green is an American writer and producer, who is best known for writing screenplays for movies like Logan (2017) and Alien: Covenant (2017). His writing career started with Green working on an episode of popular TV soap Sex and the City (1998-2004). Green has since then worked on TV shows like Cupid (1998-1999), Smallville (2001-2011), Everwood (2002-2006), Heroes (2006-2010), Kings (2009) and The River (2012). Now he serves as one of the creator's on the Starz fantasy drama, American Gods (2017-). Green's other writing credits include movies like Green Lantern (2011) and Murder on the Orient Express (2017). In 2017 Green worked on the screenplay of Blade Runner 2049 with Hampton Fancher. The movie is a sequel to the 1982 movie and is directed by Denis Villeneuve.
