Namrata Singh Gujral is an Indian-American actor, who started out on the small screen and appeared on series such as Family Law (2001), The Agency (2001-2002), Dragnet (2004), and Passions (2005). In 2008, she was diagnosed with breast and blood cancer and was later battled both the cancers.
Having been a cancer survivor, Gujral turned a filmmaker and producer with Warner Bros' 1 a Minute (2010), a documentary that chronicles the diagnosis and treatment of a celebrated breast cancer survivors. Gujral was ranked as one of Lifetime TV's Remarkable Women which has also listed women like Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton.
The filmmaker has also worked on several television-documentaries series, including You Can Thrive! (2015), Ultimate Survivor (2016) and Finding Match (2018). Her other directorial credits include 5 Weddings (2018), a feature film starring Nargis Fakhri and Rajkummar Rao.
