Nathalie Joanne Emmanuel is an English actress. Emmanuel credits her mother for the initial motivation to become an actress. At the age of 10, she played Young Nala in the The Lion King. In 2006, she made her television break by starring as Sasha Valentine in the Hollyoaks. She made her film debut in the thriller Twenty8k in 2012. She was cast as Missandei, Daenerys Targaryen's translator, in HBO's fantasy drama series Game of Thrones. In 2015, Emmanuel was promoted to a regular cast member on the show. She played computer hacker Ramsey in the 2015 action film Furious 7. Her upcoming movie is Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials is set to release in 2015.
