Early Life :
Self-proclaimed troublemaker Owen Cunningham Wilson is an American actor, voice-over artist, writer, producer, and screenwriter. His mom is photographer Laura Wilson and his dad Robert Andrew Wilson, an advertising executive and operator of a public television station. His older brother, Andrew, and younger brother, Luke, both brothers are also involved in film making. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he pursued a Bachelor of Arts in English. Wilson and Wes Anderson wrote a screenplay, Bottle Rocket (1996) which was made into feature film which grossed one million dollars. After making the film, Wilson moved to Hollywood, where he debut as an actor in the movie The Cable Guy (1996).

His 2017 release includes the drama film Bastards, which along with him stars J. K. Simmons, Terry Bradshaw, Katie Aselton, Katt Williams, June Squibb and Glenn Close in important roles.
