Paresh Rawal is an Indian film and theatre actor and also a member of the Indian Parliament. He graduated from Narsee Monjee College, Mumbai and later married yesteryear actress Swaroop Sampat. Paresh went on to make his big screen debut with Holi (1984). However it was Naam (1986) which paved his way to ultimate stardom. Since then, there has been no looking back for the legendary actor. Over the years, he has acted in hugely successful movies such as Ram Lakhan (1989), Damini (1993), Andaz Apna Apna (1994) and Chachi 420 (1997). Hera Pheri (2000) remains one of the most iconic comedy films in Hindi Cinema of all time. He has continued his successful run at the movies with Nayak (2001), Baghban (2003), Golmaal: Fun Unlimited (2006), Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008) and OMG Oh My God! (2012). Apart from films, he has performed in multiple plays all across the globe. His most notable works on the stage have been Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kaate, Dear Father and Kishen Vs Kanhaiya. In 2014, he was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India, for his contributions to the entertainment industry. He was last seen in Rang Rasiya (2014), Dharam Sankat Mein (2015) and Welcome Back (2015).
