British filmmaker and screenwriter Paul King made his directorial debut with the comedy-drama Bunny and the Bull (2009), which he also wrote. The film was well-received, and currently holds a 66% approval rating on the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. King is perhaps best known for writing and directing the comedy films Paddington (2014) and Paddington 2 (2018), which earned him multiple BAFTA Award nominations in 2015 and 2018. Other notable directorial credits include the televison shows Dog Face, The Mighty Boosh and Come Fly With Me.
