The winner of several awards like The Derana Lux Awards, SIGNIS Awards and Sarasaviya Awards, Pubudu Chaturanga is a popular Sri Lankan model, actor and screenplay writer is noted for his work in Sinhalese films and TV series. Having started his career as a stage actor, he first appeared in a play tilted Trojan Women by Dharmasiri Bandaranayake, he later moved to work in the TV industry and made his debut on the small screen with Samanala Kandawura before rising to fame with his recurring role in the soap opera titled Sara (2006). His other notable appearances in a TV series includes Lokkaiya (2007), Ran Samanalayo (2010), and Modara Walla (2017).

Apart from a being successful TV actor, Chaturanga has also worked in several feature films. He made his debut with Hiripoda Wassa (2005) and over the years, in his career, he has starred in more than 10 films. Some of his most notable film credits include Machan (2008), Sara (2010), Super Six (2010), Parawarthana (2014), July 7 (2016), and Seema Na Akase (2017), a Sinhala romantic film directed by Nihal Bandara.
