One of most popular actors in Bollywood today, Ranbir Kapoor was born on the 28th of September, 1982, to actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh Kapoor. Ranbir Kapoor comes from a filmy family- his parents, grandfather Raj Kapoor, and great-grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor made their mark on the Bollywood industry.
Ranbir Kapoor studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, USA, and returned to India to pursue an acting career in Bollywood. He, however, started in the industry as the assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the film, Black.
