Having worked in the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam film industries, Sampath Raj is a well-known movie actor. Although his spoken language is Tamil, he made his debut with the Kannada movie Preethi Prema Pranaya in 2003. Following his debut, he was seen in movies like Saroja, Goa, Brindavana, S/O Satyamurthy and Oozham. His 2017 releases include Hebbuli, Rarandoi Veduka Chudham and Raja The Great. He is also associated with the 2018 Tamil action-comedy-drama Kathadi directed by Kalyaan, starring Dhansika and Daniel Annie Pope in lead roles. His 2018 releases also includes the Tamil drama Brahmanda Nayagan, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and the Telugu thriller Voter, directed by GS Karthik.
