Screenwriter, actor and producer Scott Rosenberg is best known for penning movies like Con Air (1997), High Fidelity (2000) and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017), the second of which earned him a BAFTA Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay in 2001. He started out in Hollywood as an actor, debuting with the movie Bimbo Penitentiary in 1992 before segueing into screenwriting with the neo-noir crime film Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (1995).
Besides writing and acting, Rosenberg has also ventured into production through movies like Disturbing Behavior (1998) and Highway (2002). In 2018, he penned the e superhero film Venom, which was based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name and starred Tom Hardy in the titular role.
