An Indian screenplay writer, Shibani Bathija has predominantly worked in Hindi film industry. After working in advertising with Sony, she made her debut and wrote the screenplay for two films - Fanaa (2006) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006). Both of which become a box office hit. Later, she was credited for Sanjay Gadhvi's Kidnap (2008), which was a critical and commercial flop. However, in 2010, she wrote the screenplay for My Name Is Khan, which garnered her an IIFA Award for Best Story. Her 2019 release includes Kalank.
