A popular director in the industry, Siddharth Anand began his career as an assistant to director Rahul Rawail for his film Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi that starred Kajol in a double role. Hailing from a film background, Siddharth is the son of Bittu Anand, who produced Amitabh Bachchan's hit Shahenshah, and nephew to actor Tinnu Anand. His claim to fame was his directorial debut Salaam Namaste (2005) which established his credibility as a director in Bollywood. His second venture Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007) also had a major role in his career after which he ventured into Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), Anjaana Anjaani (2010) and Bang Bang (2014), which is an adaptation of the Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz starrer Knight And Day.
