An Emmy Award-winning actor, Sterling K. Brown is best-known for starring in NBC's This Is Us, for which the actor has won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, which also made Brown the first African American actor to win his category in the award show's 75-year history. Among his many notable works, Brown is known for essaying the role of Dr. Roland Burton in the critically acclaimed television series Army Wives and the role of prosecutor Christopher Darden in award-winning series The People V. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
Brown has starred in many popular series, including Supernatural, Masters of Sex, Person of Interest, Castle, The Mentalist and Criminal Minds. He also starred in various films as well. His film credits include The Suspect, Our Idiot Brother, Trust The Man, Righteous Kill, and Space. His other projects include Black Panther, Hotel Artemis and The Predator.
Brown has also performed in a variety of theatre, including Macbeth, The Brother/Sister Plays, The Resistible Rise of Arturo UI and Father Comes Home from the Wars, which won him an NAACP Theatre Award. His 2018 release includes Marshall, directed by Reginald Hudlin.
