Tessa Lynne Thompson is an American actress. She is perhaps best known for her role as Jackie Cook on the television noir Veronica Mars. Apart from TV shows, Tessa has been a part of numerous films, some of which include When a Stranger Calls (2006), The Human Contract (2008), Everyday Black Man (2010) and Exquisite Corpse (2010). Her breakthrough role, however, was in the film For Colored Girls. Following this, Tessa acted in Red and Blue Marbles (2011), Automotive (2013) and Dear White People (2014). She was last seen in Selma (2014). Her upcoming movie, Creed, is set to release in 2015.
