A winner of The Shooting Stars Award at the Berlin International Film Festival, Swedish actress Tuva Novotny's career spans over two decades, in the course of which she has appeared in over forty movies. Some of her best known acting credits include the comedy Jalla Jalla (2000), the crime-comedy Slim Susie (2003) and the Danish film A War (2015), the last of which earned her a Bodil Award nomination for Best Actress. Other significant acting credits include The Black Madonna (2007), The Wedding Photographer (2009) and the 2017 biographical sports drama Borg vs McEnroe. Tuva is the daughter of renowned Czech film director David Jan Novotny.
