American actor Tye Sheridan made his feature film debut at the age of fifteen with the 2011 experimental epic drama The Tree of Life opposite Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, and Jessica Chastain. The following year, in 2012, he bagged a lead role in the coming-of-age movie Mud, co-starring Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey. His most prominent role was that of Cyclops/Scott Summers in the 2016 superhero film X-Men: Apocalypse. His projects for 2017 include The Yellow Birds, Grass Stains, and Ready Player One.
