Vela Ramamoorthy is an Indian actor who has starred in several Tamil films. He debuted with the 2013 movie Madha Yaanai Koottam, and then went on to give excellent performances in movies like Madha Yaanai Koottam, Rajini Murugan, Sethupathi, Appa, and won the Best Villain award from Vikatan Magazine for the 2016 movie Kidaari. His 2017 release includes Yeidhavan, under the direction of Sakthi Rajasekaran. His next 2017 project is Veeraiyan, directed by S. Fareed. His 2018 projects include Sketch, Kaali and Pathungi Paayanum Thala.
